Dr Julie Nyanjom

I’m an educator teaching across Hospitality, Tourism, and Management courses. I have extensive industry experience in hospitality and tourism from different countries including Kenya, Botswana, the United States, and Australia.

In my research, I apply qualitative methodologies and favour interdisciplinary collaborations to explore emotions, mentoring and education pedagogy, most recently within the context of online teaching. My research has been published in quality journals such as International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, Tourism Geographies, Tourism Analysis, Current Issues in Tourism, Higher Education Research and development, Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Education, and Educational Action Research. I have presented my work in both national and international conferences and featured in reputable publications such as The Conversation.
