Juliet Willetts is a researcher, adviser and evaluator in the field of international development aid. Her research engages with policy and practice, and addresses the human right to water and sanitation. Juliet’s professional expertise also covers gender equality, sustainability, civil society role in development, and innovation in monitoring and evaluation approaches. Her work crosses socio-cultural, institutional, technical and economics fields. Juliet serves on the Steering Committee of Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) University Network and the Executive Committee of the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Reference Group. She has received an international research award and multiple UTS awards for research excellence, human rights and social justice, and was a finalist in the 2014 National Australia Bank’s 2014 Women’s Leadership awards.
