Principal Research Scientist, CSIRO

Dr Justine Lacey leads a research group of social and economic scientists supporting adaptive solutions for Australian communities and industries in CSIRO Land & Water. She holds qualifications in philosophy, ethics and natural resource management from The University of Queensland. Her research relates to better understanding our decisions about the way we use and develop natural resources, with a particular focus on the role and impact of technologies.

Justine also leads an area of research examining how we make decisions about technology assessment and deployment in ways that will better support sustainable futures for the Australian minerals and mining industry.
