Kai Mausch is a Senior Economist at The Center for International Forestry Research – World Agroforestry (CIFOR-ICRAF), based in Bonn Germany, and has been working on rural development for more than 10 years in Africa and Asia, exploring solutions to rural poverty from both the agricultural- as well as the non-agricultural perspective. His current interests include impact assessment, adoption behaviour and incentives as well as the importance of people’s aspirations on decision making.
