Karen Steadman

Karen joined The Work Foundation, part of the University of Lancaster, in 2012 as a researcher in the Centre for Workforce Effectiveness.

Karen has over 10 years experience in the in the fields of health and social policy, research, development and evaluation. She has worked in public, private and third sectors, in both the UK and Australia.

Karen's primary research interest is mental health and employment.

Karen has also worked as a health research and evaluation consultant for a private consultancy, for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, and for the NSW Department of Health. She holds a BA in Politics and International Relations, and an MA in Social Policy and Social Research
