Karen Devroop is a professional jazz saxophonist and pianist. He has performed at major jazz festivals across the USA, Europe, Asia and South Africa. Devroop is also an NRF Rated Researcher with over 70 peer-reviewed publications and conference papers. He is currently the Deputy Director of the Unisa Music Foundation and a professor of music at Unisa.
