Karin Bottom

Dr Karin Bottom is a political scientist and has worked at INLOGOV since February 2007.

Broadly speaking, Dr Bottom's research interests are shaped by the challenges posed by new and disseminated models of governance and her work seeks to understand various aspects of elected political office – politicians and political parties being the key units of analysis. Currently, Dr Bottom's research focuses on local representation, how it is interpeted and performed.
