Kate holds a masters degree in International Trade from The University of Melbourne and has had a career as a supply chain specialist working directly within blue chip organisations such as Ford and Rio Tinto, in management consulting with Accenture and KPMG, and also lecturing and research in Supply Chain Management at the University of Melbourne.

Most recently her focus has been on helping clients tackle social issues and sustainability in the supply chain, she consults, writes, and teaches on this topic as well as maintaining a blog called the ethical warrior. She has experience first hand working with community groups on anti-human trafficking programs on the ground in India and Bangladesh.
