Clinical Director, Flinders University

I am a Registered Nurse who is the Clinical Director for Southern Adelaide Palliative Services. I have a strong interest in psychosocial care for people facing an end of life illness. My research interests have revolved around health service improvement with a focus on the experience of the end user.
I hold academic status with Flinders University and contribute to the research activities and teaching program of the Palliative and Supportive Studies Department.
I have just completed a 5 week Churchill Fellowship study with a focus on End of Life care strategies and the barriers and enablers to their implementation. As a part of this study tour I also met with a couple of Death Doulas to understand the role they play within the end of life space.
