Associate Professor Sustainable Food Systems, Director of Rural Research Centre, Dalhousie University

My work has been in building capacity for collaborative community development. I research on the factors that i found mediate well-being: vibrancy, resiliency, prosperity, and sustainability and particularly sustainable diets. Changes to public policy and practice and industry and citizen engagement with new and old approaches to systems may help improve health and reduce costs, 'change' climate change and increase access and equity.
