Kathleen Walsh

Kathy Walsh is Professor of Finance in UTS Business School. Her research is on capital markets where she has been published internationally and has attracted substantial grant funding. Her current focus is on Chinese capital markets and the internationalisation of the Renminbi (RMB). She has co-authored several reports on the implications of the internationalisation of the RMB and the evolution of offshore RMB centres. https://profiles.uts.edu.au/Kathleen.Walsh/publications
Professor Walsh has over 20 years’ experience as an academic with prior positions at UNSW, Sydney University and the ANU. She holds a PhD in finance from the AGSM and a first class Honours Degree in Finance. Prior to her Academic career Kathy worked for 10 years in the Insurance sector.
