Katie Miles

Katie's PhD research is investigating the subsurface hydrology and internal structure of a high-elevation debris-covered glacier (Khumbu Glacier, Nepal), through instrumented boreholes and hopefully some other means as well. She has had two field seasons on Khumbu during 2017 with the EverDrill research project and will be returning in 2018 to collect some further and alternative data.
