Keita Takayama

Keita grew up in the heart of Tokyo, Japan. After finishing his BA, he taught in different national contexts, Vancouver (Canada), Bangalore (India), Tokyo (Japan), and Madison (USA), teaching middle school and college students, adults, and pre-service teachers.

He was aworded the Fulbright Fellowship (2002-2006) to undertake his doctoral study at the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, the University of Wisconsin-Madison (USA).

After completing his study, he joined the Social Contexts Teaching and Research Group at the University of New England in February 2008.
