Director of the Centre for Post Qualifying Social Work, Bournemouth University

Professor Keith Brown holds academic and professional qualifications in social work, nursing, teaching and management. He has worked in university and local authority education and training for over 25 years, and is currently Director of the National Centre for Post Qualifying Social Work and Professional Practice and Director of the Institute of Health and Social Care Integration, at Bournemouth University. He received the Linda Ammon memorial prize in 2005, awarded to the individual making the greatest contribution to education and training in the UK. He sits on the Department of Health Adult Safeguarding Advisory Board, the Joint Department of Health and Ministry of Justice National Mental Capacity Leadership forum and the Home Office Joint Financial task force.
