Kendra L. Smith, Ph.D. is the Associate Director for Community Engaged Research in the Center for Population Health Sciences - School of Medicine at Stanford University.

Previously, Smith served as a Policy Analyst at the Morrison Institute for Public Policy where she worked on a variety of projects relating to civic engagement, economic development, and science & technology. Also an educator, Smith has enjoyed years of teaching and now actively mentors graduate students and new professionals.

Smith earned her Ph.D. in the School of Community Resources and Development at Arizona State University. She also has a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelors of Arts from the University of Central Oklahoma.
