PhD Student in Chemistry, Rice University

I am currently an NSF Graduate Research Fellow and PhD candidate working under the supervision of Prof. James Tour at Rice University. My research expertise include materials, organic and inorganic synthetic, and coordination chemistry and their green and scalable applications in material composites, energy storage devices, and catalysis. I have experience as a supplemental instructor, mentor, and peer reviewer, as well as a strong track record of autonomous and self-directed research. I was a team captain and all-region selected SEC student athlete for 5 years while at Auburn University, as a member of the Track and Cross Country teams. Outside of the lab, I enjoy travelling, watching good movies, wood working, and the outdoors.
