I am an applied linguist interested in language, globalisation and mobility. My research has focused on the impact of mobility in a globalised and globalising world on the linguistic and cultural capital of mobile individuals. I research areas related to sociolinguistics, international student mobility, internationalisation in higher education, intercultural communication, and migration.
