Ki-Eun Jang is an interdisciplinary scholar with a specialization in Hebrew Bible and ancient Middle Eastern language, religion, literature, and history, as well as in critical social analysis of identities and migration between antiquity and modernity. Her scholarly interests lie in advancing socially engaged humanities, especially at the intersection of history and religion with a focus on the production and reception of biblical literature. She is also interested in exploring the impact of new technologies in understanding and reframing the past and present.
