Kristine J. Ajrouch

Adjunct Research Professor, Survey Research Center, Institute for Social Research, University of Michigan

Dr. Ajrouch's research focuses on three main areas: 1) aging, health, immigration and family in the United Statues and the Middle East; 2) social networks over the life course; and 3) Arab American identity and well-being. Her research investigates the complex ways that stratifying factors, including culture, race, gender and socio-economic status influence aspects of aging. Currently, she is working with a multidisciplinary team of researchers to study Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias among Arab Americans.
