Kyle Turner is an Australian doctoral candidate at the University of Oxford, trying to better understand how different environments impact a population's health, particularly childhood obesity. His research group at Oxford doubles as the WHO Collaborating Centre / British Heart Foundation Centre on 'Population Approaches to Non-Communicable Disease Prevention'. He has previously completed a Masters in Applied Epidemiology at the Australian National University, thereafter working as an epidemiologist for 2 years at the Royal Children's Hospital in sunny Queensland, Australia.
