PhD Scholar, University of Sydney

After having finished her clinical psychology training, Lauren is currently completing her doctorate at the University of Sydney where she also works as an undergraduate tutor and casual lecturer. Lauren has a passion for youth mental health and understanding factors which may put individuals at risk of developing mental illness in the future. At the same time, Lauren is also interested in factors that may promote resilience both in young people and other minority communities to ensure that we all are able to thrive and reach our full potential. Lauren is currently completing her PhD research in understanding the effectiveness of school-based CBT interventions in the role of mental health promotion and prevention in young people.
