Leah Shepherd

Dr Leah Shepherd is a biostatistician within the Prevention Research Collaboration (PRC) based in the Charles Perkins Centre. Her work centres around the analysis of a range of data sources in order to evaluate the influence of physical activity, nutrition, obesity prevention, epidemiology and health promotion on chronic disease prevention. Leah is trained in both statistics and epidemiology and has a strong programming background with experience in SAS, python and R. She has worked in a range of disease areas including HIV, diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and Cancer.
