Lee Banville is a journalism professor and political analyst at the University of Montana. In 2016, he published "Covering American Politics in the 21st Century," which looks at how political events and controversies were covered by influential news organizations in the United States. Banville is one of the founding editors of PBS Online NewsHour in 1996 and served as its Editor-in-Chief from 1998-2009.
