Leica Sarah Claydon-Mueller

Senior Lecturer, Anglia Ruskin University

I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2003 (Keele University, UK) and completed my PhD in 2008 (Keele University, UK). I worked in the School of Physiotherapy, University of Otago, New Zealand for six years (2006 - 2012) and currently work at Anglia Ruskin University (aru), UK (2012 - to-date). I have a Postgraduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching from the University of Otago (2010) and am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA; 2017). I am currently link tutor for a Dual-Award BSc Physiotherapy degree which is a partnership between aru and MAHSA University in Malaysia. There are currently over 400 students registered on our degree. I am also module leader for the Masters dissertation module - which most students study on Masters courses in the Department of Allied Health. I supervise nine PhD / MD / Prof Doc candidates, seven of these candidates as first supervisor. My research interests are pain (particularly the non-pharmacological management of), activity, neurological conditions, systematic reviews with meta-analysis and service delivery.
