Lesley Henderson is a media Sociologist with specific interests in health, science communication and social change. She is interested in innovative digital research methods and currently developing collaborative research concerning environmental communication, human health and media storytelling.

Lesley is Senior Lecturer in Sociology & Communications and full member of the Institute for Environment, Health & Societies at Brunel University London. She previously held posts in Dept.of Sociology & Anthropology, University of Glasgow and in Public Health & Policy at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.

She is a Public Engagement Champion and Contributing Editor of academic blog http://www.cost-ofliving.net/ (funded by the British Sociological Association) where she writes regularly about biomedical issues in the media.
