Liese Coulter

Liese Coulter is partnered with the Resilience by Design Lab and the Municipal Natural Assets Initiative in a Mitacs Accelerate Fellowship, researching practices to incorporate natural assets in infrastructure management and the learning needed to do this in a warming world. Her PhD research asked Australian and Canadian climate change professionals in research, policy and practice how they talk in their personal circles about adapting to climate change over the next twenty years. Dr Coulter was contributing editor to "Communicating Climate Change Information for Decision-Making" and completed a Canadian Mitacs Science Policy Fellowship with the B.C. Ministry of Agriculture. Her Interests in climate change adaptation are focused on narratives and future thinking informed by climate knowledge.
