Lecturer in climate science and science communication, University of Melbourne

I am a lecturer in climate science and science communication at The University of Melbourne, and am passionate about Australia's climate. My career highlights include presenting climate videos with the Bureau of Meteorology, working with farmers, librarians and volunteers to recovering 19th century weather observations across the country, and being part of the winning team of the 2014 Eureka Prize for Interdisciplinary Research. I edit a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to sharing scientific data, am a regular on 3RRR’s science show, Einstein a Go Go, and part of the 2019-2020 Science and Technology Australia Superstars of STEM program.
