Lindsay Hamilton

Professor of Animal Organization Studies, University of York

I am an interdisciplinary ethnographer, specialising in study of the interactions between humans and nonhumans in organization.

Recent research projects have included studies of food production and agriculture, disease control, veterinary care and professionalism, among others. I have worked at Keele University and York University since 2019.

I have authored and edited several books (Animals at Work, Ethnography after Humanism and Contemporary Issues in Management) and articles in journals including Organization, Journal of Organizational Ethnography, New Technology Work and Employment.
