I am interested in the biology and epidemiology of influenza; epidemiological modeling; and emerging zoonotic viruses, including influenza A (H7N9), HPAI (H5N1), and MERS coronavirus.

Education: PhD in Neuroscience, UCLA; MA in Mathematics, UCLA; MA in Economics, Tufts University; AB in Government, Harvard. Postdoctoral work at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
