Lecturer in Psychological Interventions, University of Central Lancashire

Lowri is a Lecturer in Psychological Interventions at the University of Central Lancashire. Lowri's area of interest is in Positive Psychology and the Science of Happiness. Lowri is currently working on a study of Happiness, personality and metacognition aswell as research around gender differences in happiness.. Lowri has also developed a Science of Happiness course (Happy Hour) that is being delivered within the NHS to staff and patients. It covers the science of happiness, why laughter is the best medicine- the healing power of humour as well as positive ageing – how to enjoy later life. Lowri will be presenting a workshop on the power of fun at the international Meaning Conference in London July12-14th 2019.
