My main research interests are applying statistical methods to problems in atmospheric science.
Currently I investigate methane emissions through inverse modelling as part of the MOYA project. This involves developing the techniques used to infer emission fluxes from ground based and satellite measurements, with a particular focus on methane from the tropics.
I have a general interest in the detection and quantification of atmospheric gases, clouds and aerosols in the context of climate and aviation meterology, and the wider application of statistical methods in geosciences.
