Lulu Mussa Muhe

A professor in paediatrics and child from Addis Ababa University since 2000. Recently retired from the World Health Organization after 15 years in Geneva and one year in in the African regional office. Trained specialist in paediatrics as well as public health. Published on child health including research in the areas of paediatric infectious diseases such as childhood pneumonia, diarrhoea, malaria, tuberculosis, newborn health and pediatric HIV. Provided technical assistance to countries on child health to plan, adapt, monitor and evaluate implementation of WHO guidelines including supporting innovative approaches for skills building of health care professionals and community-based care providers.
