Luna Glucksberg is an urban ethnographer working on inequality in contemporary British society. She has researched both ends of the social spectrum, from London inner-city housing estates to the playgrounds of the rich and famous in Chelsea and Mayfair, as well as working on the estates of the Bogside (N.I) and in suburban, disenfranchised areas of London.

She is interested in how inequality works from a structural perspective, and uses ethnography to understand how this affects people in their everyday lives. She has worked between anthropology, geography and sociology throughout her academic career.
