Maria de Jesus Morais

Professor, Centre of Philosophy and Human Sciences, Universidade Federal do Acre (UFAC)

Maria de Jesus Morais is a professor and researcher at the Federal University of Acre in Brazil. Her research focuses on urban space production, migratory networks and identity, historical geography and territorialisation processes. She was tutor of PET Connections of Knowledge with indigenous communities in 2017. She is a partner in the research project, ‘So who Is building sustainable development?’ with University of Strathclyde and the Grenoble Management School, France. She teaches undergraduate courses in Geography and postgraduate courses in Geography and Letters, Language and Identity.
