I am a Professor at the University of Connecticut at USA. My area of research is to employ dietary strategies to reduce metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes and the risk for heart disease. I have published over 270 articles in peer-reviewed journals. I have graduated 36 PhD and 23 Master's from 16 different countries. I have presented my research all over the world in America, Asia, Europe and Africa. I have received over 3 million dollars from the food Industry, the United Stated Department of Agriculture and several pharmaceutical industries to conduct my research
