Mariacarmela Montesanto

I did my BA at the University of Pisa, Italy. I focused my research on Aegean and Near Eastern interactions in the Levant during the Middle Bronze Age and Late Bronze Age (graduated 2010),
I did my MA in the same university focusing on the appearance of an Aegean material culture (pottery) in the Levant at the beginning of the Iron Age. I am about to finish my PhD at the University of Liverpool. My research focus on the analysis of pottery material coming from the site of Alalakh (modern Turkey) recovered from the Iron Age I and II levels.
