Marilena Kavoura

Dr Marilena Kavoura has been working on identifying the landscape in Technology and Ageing within RMIT and the needs of the aged care sector. It appears there is fragmented expertise in aged care in the University and this makes it difficult to compete with other Universities who have a strong portfolio in this sector. The aim is to develop technology and design solutions and ideas that keep seniors active with the emphasis on social inclusion within the community.
