Mark Giancaspro

Dr Mark Giancaspro is a Senior Lecturer and practising commercial lawyer at the University of Adelaide Law School. He holds an Honours degree in Laws and Legal Practice from Flinders University and a PhD from the University of Adelaide. He is an expert in contract law, consumer law, and sports law and has published widely on topics in these fields. Mark maintains his practice through the Adelaide Law School's Magistrates Court Legal Advice Service (MCLAS) and routinely presents at conferences and events all over Australia and the world.

He is a member of the Adelaide University Research Unit on Commerce, Corporations, Insolvency and Tax (ROCCIT). He also holds membership with numerous organisations such as the Commercial Law Association of Australia and the International Commercial Law Association, and he sits on the Digital Commerce Committee and Competition and Consumer Committee of the Law Council of Australia. He is a Director and Vice-President of Sport SA.
