Senior Research Fellow, Centre for Accident Research and Road Safety - Queensland (CARRSQ), Queensland University of Technology

Mark worked in road safety research and policy for the Federal, Victorian, South Australian and Queensland governments for a number of years before joining the Centre for Accident Research and Road Safety - Queensland (CARRS-Q) at QUT in 2004. He has been involved in most areas of road user behaviour, though his main research and policy interests currently are older road users, vulnerable road users and road safety in rapidly motorising countries. He is also the Coordinator, Education and International Development, overseeing the development and delivery of award and customised courses in road safety, and coordinating the Centre's international outreach and collaboration.
