In my research, I link strategic issues and phenomena, organisational design, and organisational behaviour, such as teamwork in strategic alliances. My current studies focus mostly on how group composition and organizational structures affect subgroup formation, group processes, and outcomes. I often examine this in the context of alliance multiteam systems; networks of interdependent teams across organizations. My studies regularly cross levels of analysis as I investigate how teams contribute to organizational outcomes and vice versa. I use a variety of research methods, including field studies, cases, and experiments.
