Martin Ezcurra

Martin Ezcurra is doing his PhD on the anatomy, taxonomy and systematics of Permo-Triassic basal archosauromorphs. He is using qualitative and quantitative methods to revisit the taxonomy and systematics of most members of the group. The final aim of his PhD project is to build a comprehensive phylogenetic hypothesis of the basal members of Archosauriformes and evaluate its implications for the macroevolutionary and palaeobiogeographic history of the group.
