My PhD was on the impact of regulatory capture on ADHD child prescribing rates in Australia. As well as lecturing I am a health advocate,researcher and author. My primary interests include pharmaceutical regulation, the 'medicalisation' of behaviour and the politics of mental health in Australia. From 2001 until 2013 I was a Member of The Legislative Assembly of WA.
