Honorary Research Fellow, Human Geographer, University of Exeter

I'm from Ireland but since 1995 I’ve lived in Japan, the Canadian Arctic, Scotland and England. I’m a social anthropologist and human geographer. My research explores Inuit perception, knowledge and use of the sea, with a particular focus on the role of marine animals in Inuit culture.
