Professional Interests

Dr. Forhan is interested in improving the quality of rehabilitation for patients with obesity. Her research areas of interest are focused on bariatric rehabilitation with a goal to develop the capacity to provide evidence-based rehabilitation for patients with multiple chronic health conditions including obesity and to improve access to health care by reducing weight bias and discrimination.

Research
Dr. Forhan is leading a program of research focused on improving the care and rehabilitation outcomes of patients with obesity.
