Lecturer School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Manchester

I am a Lecturer in Power Systems within the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The University of Manchester. I received my PhD in analysis and prevention of power system blackouts from The University of Manchester in 2013. Following some years as a Post-doctoral Research Associate, I joined the University as a Lecturer in February 2017.

I have been involved in several research projects, often in collaboration with multi-disciplinary (e.g. climate and social scientists) and international industrial partners, mainly in the areas of risk, reliability and resilience assessment and adaptation of critical infrastructures. I have published extensively in these research topics in top international journals and conferences and have been invited to give talks at universities and organizations worldwide. I regularly serve as a member of technical committees for various conferences and as a reviewer for conferences and academic journals.
