Senior Lecturer of Music, University of the Free State
Matildie Thom Wium lectures musicology and music theory in the Odeion School of Music, University of the Free State. Her doctoral research was on the music of South African composer Arnold van Wyk (1916-1983). More recently, she has been doing historical research on Victorian opera singers as a participant in the 'Music in London, 1800-1851' project at King's College London.
