PhD Student in Non-Standard Computation, York Center for Complex Systems Analysis, University of York

Hi, I'm a Computer Science PhD student at the University of York. The main focus of my research is to create new "unconventional" computers by exploiting the underlying physics of complex mediums. Thanks to advances in modern digital (conventional) computers, we can now "evolve" and autonomously train standalone physical materials to solve intelligent tasks. These new techniques have the potential to produce small, massively parallel and power efficient "intelligent" machines that could support, or surpass conventional computers in certain domains.
