Matt Fisher

I conduct research on a range of issues related to public health and public policy in Australia including recent foci on policies for Indigenous health and wellbeing, primary healthcare policy and urban planning policy. I am strongly interested in the intersections between psychosocial stress, mental health and psychological wellbeing, and what these mean for public policy and social change. Recently I have published 'A theory of public wellbeing' and a companion article on 'Moving social policy from mental illness to public wellbeing'.
