Adjunct Lecturer, Flinders University

A young academic who is passionate about Applied Linguistics and Conversation Analysis (CA). Matteo Farina has worked in several prestigious universities including the University of Adelaide, the University of South Australia, Flinders University and Open Universities Australia. At the institutions, he has designed and delivered courses in the area of Applied Linguistics, Sociolinguistics, Communication and Language Studies.

In addition, Matteo is an Early Career Researcher at the Centre for Languages and Cultures at the University of South Australia.

He is currently involved in two research projects at the University of South Australia; one that investigates the perspectives of youth on the Italian language and culture and, the other which examines the impact of language on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) sufferers.
