Dr Matthew Hall is a Visiting Scholar in the Faculty of Law, Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington and Director, Research and Legal at the Environmental Law Initiative (ELI).
Matt is also a scholar of environmental philosophy. His research examines the relationships between human beings and plants.
Matt's most recent book, 'The Imagination of Plants: A Book of Botanical Mythology' (SUNY Press, 2019) examines the stories told about plants in the world's mythological traditions.
